Reddington Pass & Chiva Falls, Off Road : The road through Redington Pass is unpaved and the area throughout the pass is a favorite of mountain bikers and ATV riders. The west side of the pass near Tanque Verde Falls affords beautiful views overlooking the east side of the city of Tucson, spread out across the Sonoran Desert floor below. The Rincon Mountains rise over Tucson’s easternmost marches. Not as well publicized as the impressive Catalina Mountains to the north, the Rincons are a rolling, rugged range laced with a network of roads, trails, and rocky singletrack. The trail to Chiva Falls is breathtaking. There's nothing like a jeep ride into Chiva Falls. Take time to play on the way in.

Gun Sight Pass, Off Road : Old mining road with beautiful views from Gunsight Pass and Lopez Pass at the top of the Santa Rita Mountains. This is a popular ATV area. Stop at Helvetia Townsite—not much left but a few adobe walls. Examine historic gravesites in Helvetia Cemetery. Narrow, rocky trail climbs steeply to an elevation over 5,000 feet. Rutted with loose rock in several places. Suitable for aggressive stock vehicles with high ground clearance. Some backcountry driving experience recommended. Don’t go alone.

Box Canyon, AZ : Mineral Mountain is a rugged area south of Superior, Arizona, that stretches southward to the edge of the Gila River. Box Canyon drains to the south into the Gila River. The relatively soft volcanic rhyolite, tuft and sedimentary rock has eroded into deep canyons and tall, spectacular spires.
